Four decks, four playstyles

On 25 September 2026, Bandai added four new starter decks to the Gundam Card Game line-up, each built as a complete, ready-to-play 50-card deck with 10 resource cards, a paper damage counter, rule and playsheet, token cards and a bonus pack.

  • Aquatic Assault (ST11) — strategies built around underwater units
  • Raging Onslaught (ST12) — a close-range attack playstyle
  • Silent Barrage (ST13) — remote weapons and ranged pressure
  • Heavy Dominion (ST14) — heavily armed mobile suits

The Gundam 00 playmat and card set

Alongside the four decks, an official Playmat and Card Set — Mobile Suit Gundam 00 — released the same day. The fabric playmat features artwork of the Gundam Exia and Kyrios, and the set includes an exclusive promo card with original Gundam 00 illustration.

Which deck should you start with?

None of the four decks is a straightforward "best" pick — it comes down to how you like to play. If you'd rather close the distance fast, Raging Onslaught's close-range focus is the more direct route in; if you prefer picking fights from range, Silent Barrage's remote weapons do that instead. Heavy Dominion rewards patience behind heavily armed units, while Aquatic Assault leans into underwater-unit synergies that reward a bit more deckbuilding know-how.
