The Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration set arrived worldwide on 16 September. Now a separate Japanese release is drawing collectors' attention: the 30th CELEBRATION Card Set, due on 16 October 2026.

What is the 30th CELEBRATION Card Set?

Based on retailer and collector-news reports, the set comes in nine versions, one for each region from Kanto to Paldea. Each version is reported to include three holo promo cards of that region's starter Pokémon, two booster packs and a paper card stand. We have not yet seen an official English product page, so treat the details as provisional.

Is it different from the worldwide 30th Celebration set?

Yes. The worldwide set released on 16 September. This card set is a separate Japanese product. We have not confirmed whether an English-language version exists.

How do I buy Japanese Pokémon cards from overseas safely?

  • Buy from a retailer with a track record and read recent reviews.
  • Compare the listing with the official product details before paying.
  • Check the shipping terms, import duties and customs fees for your country.
  • Be wary of listings that look too good to be true on a sought-after release.

Which region should I start with?

Most collectors pick the starters they grew up with, or the region of their favourite Pokémon. There is no wrong answer.
